Food is Everywhere- Why dont we understand it?

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how much space food takes up in our lives. Not just on a “health journey,” but in the everyday, human sense.
We’re constantly navigating food: invitations to get-togethers, snacks in the break room, family dinners, late-night cravings, and the eternal question: “What should I have for dinner tonight?”
And yet, for something that touches us every single day, most of us were never really taught anything about it. Not the basics of macronutrients. Not how to read a nutrition label. Not what diets actually mean. Not how food affects our bodies. Not even how to plan meals in a way that supports our real, lived life.
The result? Confusion. Frustration. Decision fatigue. The feeling that taking care of ourselves is somehow harder than it needs to be.
That’s exactly why I created Food Foundations — and I’m thrilled to share that it’s officially live!
This self-paced guide takes everything I teach my clients and puts it in one place: practical, understandable, and flexible. No rigid rules. No guessing. Just clarity, confidence, and a framework that actually fits into your life.

Since launching, I’ve seen so many people take that first step and have those “aha” moments — the ones where everything suddenly clicks and they finally understand what’s on their plate. The relief is palpable. The empowerment is real.
Food is so cool. The human body is so cool. And helping you connect the two? That’s my favorite thing in the world.
Ready to feel confident, empowered, and grounded in your nutrition?
